Job Description

Job SummaryRealtime Biometrics India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide remote technical support for the company's biometric attendance systems, access control devices, cloud applications, and attendance management software. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting software and device-related issues, assisting customers remotely, and ensuring timely resolution of technical queries.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesProvide remote technical support to customers via phone, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or other remote support tools.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Realtime Biometrics attendance software and cloud applications.
  • Support biometric attendance devices, access control systems, and related software.
  • Diagnose and resolve software, device connectivity, synchronization, and data-related issues.
  • Assist customers with software installation, user creation, device registration, and attendance management.
  • Configure and troubleshoot biometric device communication over LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, and cloud connectivity.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers when required.
  • Maintain service logs, customer support records, and issue resolution reports.
  • Guide customers on product usage, software features, and best practices.
  • Ensure all customer issues are resolved within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
  • Required SkillsBasic knowledge of Windows operating systems and computer troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking concepts such as IP Address, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and internet connectivity.
  • Good knowledge of remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to handle multiple support requests.
