Job Description

Hotel General Manager (GM)

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and tech-savvy General Manager to oversee all operations of our hotel property. You will be responsible for maximizing financial performance, driving revenue growth, ensuring guest satisfaction, and leading team members across all departments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience collaborating with external revenue agencies and managing distribution technology.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Channel Management

  • Partner with external revenue management agencies to implement daily dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Manage inventory distribution and rate parity across all platforms using channel managers like eZee, Stayflexi, and similar software.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor rates, and demand patterns to maximize daily ARR and RevPAR.
  • Monitor booking pick-up reports and pacing data to optimize digital sales channels.

Operations & Team Leadership

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the Head Chef to ensure kitchen operations align with restaurant goals and quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate department heads to build a high-performing team.

Financial Performance

  • Manage the hotel's annual budget, P&L statements, and financial forecasting.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic pricing, marketing, and sales initiatives.
  • Monitor operational expenses and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.

Guest Experience & Compliance

  • Maintain exceptional hospitality standards to maximize guest satisfaction and online ratings.
  • Resolve escalated guest issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure full compliance with local health, safety, labor laws, and licensing regulations.



Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a reputable hotel.
  • Hands-on expertise with hospitality tech stacks, specifically eZee Centrix or Stayflexi.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party revenue consultants to hit monthly target margins.
  • Strong leadership, financial acumen, and data analytics skills.
  • Excellent communication, public relations, and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
