About the ProgramThis role is part of a specialized foreign exchange initiative driven by Venture Skill India Pvt. Ltd., in strategic partnership with Sarla Birla and The People to Help Foundation. The program is dedicated to upskilling healthcare students, equipping them with the linguistic and cultural competencies required to successfully transition into and excel within the German healthcare sector.

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly proficient and passionate German Language Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering intensive language instruction tailored specifically for healthcare professionals (nurses, paramedics, and medical students). You will play a critical role in bridging the communication gap, ensuring our candidates meet the rigorous language standards required for their certification and relocation to Germany.

Key Responsibilities

Language & Technical Instruction:

• Deliver comprehensive German language training from beginner (A1) to intermediate/advanced (C1/C2) levels.
• Integrate specialized medical and healthcare terminology into the daily curriculum to prepare students for clinical environments in Germany.
• Develop engaging lesson plans focusing on reading, writing, listening, and conversational fluency.

Exam Preparation & Assessment:

• Rigorously prepare candidates for internationally recognized German proficiency exams (such as Goethe-Zertifikat, TELC, or ÖSD) necessary for their visa and employment processing.
• Conduct regular mock exams, verbal assessments, and progress evaluations.
• Maintain detailed training logs, attendance records, and performance reports to share with project stakeholders.

Cultural Integration:

• Design and conduct cultural orientation sessions focusing on life in Germany, professional etiquette, and the operational nuances of the German healthcare system.
• Help students build confidence and adaptability for their international relocation.

Project Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with coordinators from Venture Skill India, Sarla Birla, and The People to Help Foundation to ensure training milestones align with program deployment timelines.
• Qualifications & RequirementsLanguage Proficiency: Minimum B2 certification (C1 highly preferred) in the German language from a recognized institution (e.g., Goethe-Institut).
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of proven experience as a German language instructor. Prior experience teaching adult learners, specifically in the healthcare or medical domain, is a strong advantage.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in German, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Excellent pedagogical skills with the ability to simplify complex grammar and vocabulary.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Proficiency in tracking student metrics and utilizing modern teaching aids.
