Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Controller to ensure accurate stock management, documentation and material movement across our plant and warehouses. The role will also support the company’s ongoing ERPNext implementation and maintain accurate, system-ready inventory data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor raw materials, packing materials and finished goods across stores and warehouses.
• Verify and maintain GRNs, issue slips, production slips, dispatch challans and other inventory documents.
• Ensure timely and accurate stock entries in ERPNext / Excel.
• Conduct physical stock verification, reconcile variances and report discrepancies.
• Track reorder levels, near-expiry stock, slow-moving items and wastage.
• Ensure all material movements are properly documented, approved and recorded.
• Maintain batch, manufacturing and expiry-date records for traceability and food safety.
• Prepare daily stock summaries and exception reports for management.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Stores and the ERPNext team to ensure inventory accuracy.

Key Skills:

• Knowledge of Inventory / Stores & Warehouse Management
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, batch tracking and stock reconciliation
• Good MS Excel and data-entry skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as ERPNext, Tally, SAP, BUSY or similar
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and documentation
• Good coordination, communication and follow-up skills
• Honest, disciplined and comfortable working in a plant/warehouse environment
• Willingness to learn and work with ERPNext



Preferred Experience:

• Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Manufacturing industry preferred.
• Experience with ERP-based inventory management will be an advantage.
• Practical experience in physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation preferred.
