Production Supervisor

Work Profile:

• Supervise daily fabrication and production activities related to mandap structures, frames, stages, decorative structures, and other components.
• Allocate daily work to fabricators/welders/fitters/helpers, and other production staff.
• Monitor cutting, welding, drilling, grinding, fitting, assembly, and finishing activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per the delivery schedule.
• Read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications includes wooden materials.
• Check welding quality, finishing, wastages and overall product quality, .
• Coordinate purchase, stores, and dispatch departments for material availability and timely delivery.
• Monitor raw material consumption and minimize material wastage.
• Maintain daily production reports, manpower attendance, material usage, and job completion records.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of fabrication machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify production delays, resolve shop-floor issues, and report major problems to management.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of fabricated components.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and 5S practices in the production area.
