Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and disciplined Production Supervisor for our industrial machinery manufacturing facility. The candidate will oversee daily workshop operations, supervise machine operators and shop-floor workers, ensure timely production targets, and maintain strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily shop-floor production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Supervise and allocate work to lathe operators,machinists, fitters and helpers.
• Monitor machine utilization, minimize downtime, and coordinate routine maintenance with the technical team.
• Inspect work-in-progress and finished components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stores/purchase for raw material availability and track inventory usage to prevent shortages.
• Maintain workplace discipline, track operator attendance, and enforce industrial safety protocols (PPE usage, clean workspace).
• Identify production bottlenecks, minimize scrap/rework, and optimize material efficiency.
• Liaise with sales, dispatch, and quality control departments for timely dispatches.
• Maintain daily production logs, output sheets, and rejection reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of machining processes (Lathe, Grinding, Assembly).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical measurements.
• Hands-on experience with measurement tools (Vernier caliper, micrometers, height gauges).
• Good leadership, manpower management, and problem-solving skills on the shop floor.

Eligibility Criteria

• ITI,Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 1 to 4 years of proven experience in industrial machinery manufacturing, fabrication, or precision engineering workshops.
• Strong communication skills in Gujarati, Hindi, English.
