Telecalling Executive

To connect interested loan applicants (warm leads) who apply for a short-term loan through the company's digital platform and handover the leads to credit officers.

The primary responsibility is to promptly contact warm leads, understand their loan requirements, connect interested applicants with credit officers and coordinate with Credit Officers for smooth handing-over of leads for maximum possible loan conversion.

This is not a cold-calling or conventional sales role. The focus is on timely follow-ups and engagement with existing loan applicants (warm leads).

. Key Responsibilities

A. Warm Lead Calling & Conversion

• Contact newly generated warm leads promptly after they apply for a loan.
• Understand the applicant's loan requirement, interest, urgency, and readiness to proceed.
• Explain the loan processing steps, required documents, applicable charges, and timelines clearly.
• Follow up with interested applicants to ensure they complete the application and pending formalities without unnecessary delays.
• Re-engage interested applicants who have not completed the process and identify the reasons for drop-offs.
• Maximise conversion of interested and eligible leads into successfully disbursed loans.

B. Coordination with Credit Officers

• Immediately hand over connected, interested, and responsive leads to the assigned Credit Officers for further loan processing.
• Share accurate applicant details, loan requirements, call outcomes, and follow-up commitments.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers to track application progress, pending requirements, and approval or rejection status.
• Escalate cases where processing is held up due to pending action or communication gaps.

C. Document Collection & Applicant Follow-up

• Remind applicants to submit pending KYC, income, bank statement, and other required documents.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers to resolve document-related queries and incomplete submissions.
• Maintain clear records of pending documents, applicant commitments, and next follow-up date/time.

D. Lead Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate call records and lead status updates in the designated tracking system.
• Categorise leads as Connected, Interested, Documents Pending, Handed Over to Credit, Under Process, Not Interested, Unreachable, or Disbursed, as applicable.
• Ensure that no promising lead is lost due to delayed calling, missed follow-ups, or inadequate coordination.
• Submit daily performance reports covering calls, connected leads, interested applicants, credit handovers, completed applications, and loan disbursements.
• Maintain a disciplined follow-up schedule for all active leads.
