Technical Assistant

Job Role

1. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics

• Troubleshoot commercial food preparation equipment (e.g., fryers, griddles, toasters, ovens) and refrigeration/freezer systems.

2. Electrical Systems

• Repair and replace faulty electrical components including motors, switches, control panels, wiring, and lighting fixtures.

3. Mechanical & HVAC Systems

• Inspect, service, and repair mechanical drive components, pumps, valves, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, exhaust hoods, and walk-in coolers to maintain indoor air quality and food safety.

4. Preventative Maintenance (PM)

• Calibrate thermostats, timers, and precision cooking controls according to brand recipes and food safety protocols.

5. Compliance & Documentation [1]

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, electrical checks, and parts replacement using digital work order management tools

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial facility maintenance or the QSR/hospitality sector.
