Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Consultant with 5 to 7 years in Mobility Testing specializing in iOS Android Streaming and Smart TV platforms to lead automation and manual testing efforts

Job Description

1 Perform comprehensive Mobility Testing across iOS Android Streaming and Smart TV applications

2 Design develop and execute automated test scripts using Appium Playwright BrowserStack and TV automation frameworkstools

3 Conduct functional and nonfunctional testing including exploratory regression performance and usability testing

4 Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand application workflows especially for streaming OTT and mobileSmart TV applications

5 Perform Smart TV automation testing across platforms such as Android TV Apple TVtvOS Fire TV Roku Samsung Tizen and LG webOS

6 Validate TV application functionality including remote navigation playback controls media streaming quality and multidevice compatibility

7 Utilize APIMicroservices testing tools like RestAssured to validate backend services

8 Incorporate accessibility testing to ensure compliance with accessibility standards across mobile and TV platforms

9 Leverage BrowserStack for crossbrowser and device compatibility testing

10 Analyze test results report defects and track issues to closure

11 Maintain detailed documentation of test plans cases and scripts

12 Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies in mobility OTT TV automation and automation testing domains

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the endtoend testing lifecycle for mobility OTT and Smart TV applications on iOS Android Streaming and TV platforms

Collaborate closely with Product Owners Business Analysts Architects and Development teams to align testing strategies with business requirements

Develop enhance and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Appium Java Playwright and TV automation toolsframeworks

Design and execute automated test suites for mobile OTT and Smart TV applications covering functional regression smoke integration and endtoend testing

Integrate automation test suites with CICD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles

Execute and manage Smart TV automation testing for platforms including Android TV Apple TVtvOS Roku Fire TV Samsung Tizen and LG webOS

Validate user experience flows using TV remote controls voice navigation media playback validation and streaming performance testing

Perform API automation testing using RestAssured and validate backend integrations for streaming applications

Analyze automation execution results troubleshoot failures and optimize test stability and execution time

Drive automation best practices code reviews reusable component development and framework standardization across projects

Ensure automation coverage is aligned with businesscritical workflows and release priorities

Drive adoption of best practices in manual and automated testing within Agile environments

Mentor and guide junior testers on mobility OTT Smart TV testing techniques and automation tools

Ensure test environments are properly configured and integrated with BrowserStack for seamless testing

Perform accessibility testing to enhance product usability for all users

Communicate testing progress risks and issues effectively to stakeholders

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and tools

Advocate quality assurance standards and contribute to release readiness assessments
