Job Title: Engineer – Automotive Testing & Homologation

Location: Kothrud, Pune

Job Details:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Engineer to support testing and validation activities for automotive testing and homologation processes. The role involves vehicle testing, interpretation of regulatory standards, preparation of test reports, and ensuring laboratory compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vehicle testing, validation, and certification as per automotive regulatory standards (AIS, IS, ECE, etc.)
• Verify technical specifications submitted by vehicle manufacturers
• Prepare accurate test reports based on test records
• Support testing activities and ensure compliance with defined test procedures
• Interpret automotive and regulatory standards and translate them into test procedures
• Ensure laboratory compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry standards
• Perform standard studies and requirement analysis

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of automotive testing and validation processes
• Understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
• Experience in standard interpretation and test method development
• Strong documentation and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in accredited testing laboratories
• Knowledge of CMVR and automotive industry standards
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work in a testing environment
