Who are we looking for?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Migration Consultant

As a Data Migration Consultant, you will work within the data team to create and execute a robust and repeatable data migration solution from legacy systems into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Applications. You should have a good knowledge of data migration governance and best practices and be a team player.

Responsibilities :

• Liaise with project teams, customers, and management to understand data migration requirements.
• Input into the strategy and plan for moving the data and converting content as necessary while considering risks and potential impacts.
• Be able to create packages to cleanse, conform, filter, map and transform data for movement between systems.
• Oversee the execution of migrations and be capable of dealing with issues that may arise.
• Provide audits and validation for migrated data against the legacy source.
• Document migration runs, including issues, resolutions, timings, audit detail, etc.
• Be involved in developing data migration best practices for current and future projects.

Qualification and Skills:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE
• Desirable if you also have good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM
• Good understanding of data modelling, mapping and the peculiarities of Dynamics application data requirements
• Excellent understanding of data transformation using Microsoft toolset, both on-prem and Azure
• Excellent understanding of SQL Server Integration Services and the full ETL process
• Must have knowledge of Data Transformations and Data Migration design (using tools such as SSIS)
• Experience with Data Migration Governance and working as part of a larger implementation team

Experience and Background:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CE.
