Senior Accountant

Job Title: Accountant

Job Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP/Accounting Software.

Manage purchase, sales, payment, receipt, journal, cash and petty cash entries.

Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliation.

Prepare and verify invoices, debit notes and credit notes.

Monitor receivables/payables and follow up for payment collections.

Handle GST entries, reconciliation, GSTR-1/GSTR-3B and related compliance.

Manage TDS calculation, payment and return filing.

Coordinate with CA, auditors, vendors, clients and internal teams.

Support internal/statutory audits and maintain proper financial documentation.

Prepare MIS, outstanding, expense and monthly financial reports.

Assist in budgeting, expense control and variance analysis.

Guide and review the work of junior accounting staff.

Ensure accurate, timely and compliant accounting operations.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and accounting principles.

Experience in MIS Reporting, Reconciliation, AP & AR.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification.
