Job SummaryW

e are seeking a passionate, experienced, and result-oriented Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of daWholesum Resto-Café. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing restaurant operations efficiently, leading and developing the team, ensuring food quality and hygiene standards, and achieving sales and profitability targets.

The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in maintaining our brand values of serving healthy, high-quality food while creating an outstanding dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities1.

  • Restaurant OperationsOversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure smooth opening, shift management, and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance across all areas.
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed consistently.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, service, housekeeping, and vendors for seamless operations.

2. Guest Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
  • Personally engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Monitor online reviews and ensure timely responses where required.

3. Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate restaurant staff.
  • Conduct daily team briefings before each shift.
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage staff scheduling.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and collaborative work environment.

4. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets.
  • Increase Average Bill Value (ABV) through effective upselling.
  • Drive repeat business through excellent service and customer engagement.
  • Plan and execute local marketing initiatives, events, and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on in-store promotions and digital campaigns.

5. Food Quality & Brand Standards

  • Ensure every dish meets the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitor portion sizes and consistency.
  • Ensure adherence to recipes and preparation guidelines.
  • Conduct regular quality checks before food is served.
  • Uphold the café's healthy food philosophy and brand values.

6. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits.
  • Minimize food wastage and pilferage.
  • Coordinate procurement with approved vendors.
  • Control food cost and operational expenses.

7. Financial Management

  • Manage daily sales reconciliation and cash handling.
  • Monitor restaurant expenses and profitability.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and operational MIS reports.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements.
  • Ensure proper billing and accurate POS operations.

8. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain FSSAI and other required operational standards.
  • Ensure staff follow personal hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and emergency preparedness checks.

9. Online Delivery Operations

  • Oversee operations on Swiggy, Zomato, and other delivery platforms.
  • Ensure order accuracy, quality, and timely dispatch.
  • Monitor delivery ratings and customer feedback.
  • Resolve delivery-related issues promptly.

10. ReportingPrepare and submit:

  • Daily Sales Report

  • Monthly Business Review

  • Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4–8 years of restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in casual dining, café, or premium restaurant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant systems, POS software, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
