Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Vendor Management

Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers.

Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.

Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Maintain updated records of invoices, contracts, and vendor performance.

2. Order Processing & Tracking

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and requisition forms.

Track orders from placement to delivery to ensure on-time arrival.

Review quality of purchased products and coordinate returns or replacements for damaged/incorrect goods.

3. Inventory & Cost Control

Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply shortages.

Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory teams to verify deliveries against POs.

Analyze market trends to predict price fluctuations and identify cost-saving opportunities.

4. Administrative & Compliance

Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for auditing purposes.

Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely supplier payments.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
