Picker / Packer

A Store picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently locating, selecting, and collecting products from inventory to fulfill customer or store order

Order Fulfillment: Reading and analyzing pick lists, order slips, or scanning devices to identify and collect specific items from warehouse shelves.

Accuracy Verification: Matching item numbers, labels, and quantities to confirm that the picked products exactly match the order.

Inventory Management: Keeping track of what is pulled, reporting missing or damaged items, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) in real-time.

Packing & Staging: Packing items securely (sometimes handling both picking and packing), labeling boxes, and transporting goods to the loading dock.

Equipment Operation: Using manual or automated equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, or RF scanners to transport heavy or high-shelf items.

Safety & Organization: Maintaining a clean workspace, handling goods without causing damage, and adhering to strict workplace safety and hazard protocols.
