Job Description
- Roles and Responsibilities of a Logistics ExecutivePlan and coordinate the transportation of goods.
- Arrange shipments with transporters and courier partners.
- Monitor and track deliveries to ensure on-time dispatch and arrival.
- Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and transport documents.
- Coordinate with warehouses for inventory management and stock movement.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and transportation-related problems.
- Maintain logistics records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government transportation regulations.
- Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
- Coordinate loading and unloading of materials.
- Manage returns, damaged goods, and replacement shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports.
- Build and maintain good relationships with transport vendors and service providers.
- Key Skills RequiredStrong communication and coordination skills
- Time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of transportation and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
