Job Description
Job Title: Lift / Elevator Technician
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Job brief
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Lift/Elevator Technician with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and lifts. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operation of elevator systems across residential and commercial sites.
Key responsibilities
- Maintenance & servicing: Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on elevator systems, cables, pulleys, and control mechanisms.
- Troubleshooting & repair: Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshoot system errors, and replace worn-out or damaged parts promptly.
- Installation assistance: Assist in the installation of new lifts, mechanical equipment, and control panels according to safety codes and blueprints.
- Emergency response: Respond quickly to emergency call-outs for stuck elevators and safely rescue passengers when required.
- Safety compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, building codes, and standard operating procedures while handling tools and equipment.
Requirements & skills
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an elevator technician or in mechanical equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, wiring, and elevator systems management.
- Ability to read technical manuals, construction drawings, and schematics.
- Possession of a two-wheeler and a valid driving license is an advantage for field visits.
