Open Position: Interior Designer

Experience Required: 0–3 Years

Location: Wagholi, Pune, Maharashtra

Role Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Interior Designer who can contribute across the complete project lifecycle—from concept development to execution. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering thoughtful design solutions that align with AaurumCraft's premium standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives, and design briefs.
• Create mood boards, concept presentations, space planning layouts, and material palettes.
• Prepare detailed drawings including layout plans, furniture layouts, electrical drawings, ceiling plans, and working drawings.
• Produce 3D models and visual presentations to effectively communicate design intent.
• Conduct site measurements, site visits, and project assessments.
• Independently manage projects from concept development through execution.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor site progress and ensure the final execution aligns with approved designs and quality standards.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, specifications, material schedules, and procurement requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, understand client expectations, and present design solutions professionally.
• Resolve on-site design and execution challenges efficiently.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining timelines, quality standards, and attention to detail.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, finishes, furniture, and design innovations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in SketchUp (Mandatory).
• Experience with rendering software such as V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar presentation tools.
• Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and detailing.
• Ability to independently handle projects and coordinate execution activities.
• Strong site coordination and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design projects.
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion will be preferred.
• Experience working on premium residential, hospitality, or commercial projects is a plus.
