Position: Field Sales Executive

Location: Pune

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive sales of industrial machinery and machine tools in Pune and surrounding regions. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing dealer and customer relationships, conducting product demonstrations, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. Experience in B2B industrial sales, machine tools, capital equipment, or engineering products will be preferred. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Visit industrial customers, workshops, factories, and dealers for business development.
  • Generate new business opportunities from manufacturing industries, workshops, OEMs, fabrication units, and engineering companies.
  • Visit customers regularly to promote lathe machines, machine tools, and industrial equipment.
  • Conduct machine demonstrations and explain technical features and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and end customers.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
  • Identify and appoint new dealers in the assigned territory.
  • Collect market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing, and customer requirements.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain daily visit reports, CRM updates, and sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with service and production teams for smooth order execution and customer support.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Required Skills

  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Basic technical understanding of industrial machinery.
  • Ability to travel within Ahmedabad and nearby regions.
  • Confidence in customer handling and field sales activities.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp, email communication, and CRM follow-ups.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in field sales of industrial machinery, machine tools, engineering products, or capital equipment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical products and customer applications.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Maharashtra and nearby regions.
  • Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
