JOB DESCRIPTION – ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN / ENGINEER

Position: Electrical Technician / Electrical Engineer

Location: Pune

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 0–2 Years

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / ITI – Electrician Trade

Educational Qualification

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution OR

- ITI in Electrician trade from a recognized institute.

- Freshers can also apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.

- Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections.

- Identify and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.

- Handle electrical wiring, panels, switches, motors, and other electrical components.

- Follow electrical safety standards and company procedures.

- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

- Coordinate with the maintenance/engineering team for electrical-related work.

- Ensure timely completion of assigned electrical tasks.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.

- Knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting.

- Ability to read basic electrical diagrams.

- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

- Willingness to work at the site/plant as required.

- Knowledge of electrical safety practices.

Preferred

- Experience in electrical maintenance or installation will be an advantage.

- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems will be an added advantage.

- Candidates with a valid electrician certification/license, where applicable, are preferred.
