Profile: CSA Engineer

Qualification: Diploma or B-Tech Passout Candidates from Mechanical Branch

Experience: Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in PNG/LPG or a similar line of business

Location: Pune, Nashik, Sindhudurg, Ramnagara

Roles and Responsibilities

• Providing temporary footways / passages for pedestrians & light traffic as required
• Providing red flash lights in the night time to avoid accidents
• Achieving the required trench depth and sand padding in the trench
• Lowering the pipe and electro-fusion of joints
• Crossing of drains, culverts and nallahs
• Installation of isolation, tap-off and stop-off valves, GI Pipe, Cu Pipe, meter, regulator, service regulator, DRS and other required equipment
• Providing warning tape & additional protection as applicable
• Providing protection with respect to other utilities in the same trench while maintaining a 300 mm clearance from other utilities
• Installation of pipeline route markers / plate markers
• Backfilling of the trenches
• Flushing of laid pipeline network
• Pneumatic testing of the laid pipeline network (MDPE, GI, Cu)
• Leak repairs, if any
• Commissioning of pipeline and conversion of the appliances
• Compaction of the backfilled trenches
• Restoration of the surfaces
• Permanent surface reinstatement, wherever applicable
• Preparation, checking, authorization and counter-signing of inspection reports on daily basis
• Maintaining pipe-book on weekly basis
• Preparation of as-built drawings & check-prints on bill-to-bill basis
• CNG/Steel works: Site management, inspection and supervision
