Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented IT Sales Professional with a minimum of 3 years of field experience in selling IT products and solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and identifying new sales opportunities across target markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through field sales, networking, and referrals
• Promote and sell IT products such as hardware, software, networking, and security solutions
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
• Understand customer requirements and propose appropriate IT solutions
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts
• Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams for solution design and delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
• Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report progress to management
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of IT products and solutions (end points, servers, storage, networking, cloud, cybersecurity)
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and provide consultative selling
• Strong relationship management and account handling skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred
Preferred Experience
• A min of 3 years of experience is required in similar industry.
• Experience working with system integrators (SI) / IT solution providers
• Exposure to enterprise or SMB sales
• Experience with OEMs like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba etc.
