Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineer / Jr. Engineer to support testing, data acquisition, and project coordination activities in the SDL department. The candidate will be involved in DVP testing, data analysis, and vehicle instrumentation, ensuring compliance with standards and timely execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description:

• 0-3 years of experience and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
• Good proficiency in Complete timeline preparation, tracking and monitoring of all the projects activities
• Read and interpret test procedures/SOPs/standards/protocols, understanding the instrumentation, coordinate with customers and internal department
• Good proficiency in handling administrative and procurement procedures, customer techno-commercial proposals, SAP software, day-to-day task handling and follow-ups
• Understanding of various DVP test standards/regulations, vehicle benchmarking
• Good understanding of vehicle & related systems for data interpretation & report preparation
• Data validation, analysis and test result compilation with report preparation
• Knowledge of data acquisition systems along with Experience in handling instrumentation of vehicles for accelerations, temperature, pressure, flow, etc. alongwith know-how on different sensors in automotive, hands-on on Data acquisition systems, data validation and analysis software's skills like nCode Glyph works, alongwith analysis programming softwares like Matlab, Python and advanced Excel are preferable
• Good team player and communicator, with problem solving attitude
• Follow 5-S systems, ISO, EOHS practices
• Run the shifts & monitor/operate the tests running in shifts

Experience/Skills (not mentioned above or in the JD):

• Complete timeline preparation, tracking and monitoring of all the projects activities
• Identification of the critical areas, risk assessments and solution-oriented approach.
• Following all documentation and process requirements
• Ride & Handling Analysis experience a plus,
• Working with xEVs
• Ability to work independently

Description of Duties:

• Project Management of DVP tests like durability, performance & Vehicle Dynamics: Project timeline and resources management, Understand and align activities as per the DVP procedures with test conditions on different test cells/ Dynamometers/ tracks/ public road
• Quality System Compliance Assist in preparing documentation for quality audits and ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
