Quality Inspector

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of materials, components, and finished products.
• Inspect components for dimensional, visual, functional, and workmanship defects.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, control plans, and work instructions.
• Use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, thread gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Record inspection results accurately and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming products/materials.
• Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Stores, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor critical dimensions and process parameters according to inspection plans.
• Maintain quality records, check sheets, rejection reports, and traceability documents.
• Ensure measuring instruments are properly handled and within calibration validity.
• Support RCA, CAPA, 5-Why, 8D, SPC, MSA, PPAP and process improvement activities, as applicable.
• Follow company ISO/IATF procedures, 5S, safety, and quality standards.
• Support internal, customer, and supplier audits when required.
• Visit customer sites when required for quality inspections, complaint investigation, product verification, root-cause analysis, and resolution of quality-related issues.
•  Coordinate with customers during quality complaints, audits, trials, and product inspections, and provide necessary technical support.
• Prepare and submit customer visit reports and corrective action updates after the visit.
