Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage the complete human resources function of the organization.
The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, attendance and leave management, payroll coordination, performance management, HR documentation, statutory compliance, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Selection
- Manage the complete recruitment process from job posting to joining.
- Understand manpower requirements from different departments.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate technical/management rounds.
- Prepare and issue offer and appointment letters.
- Maintain recruitment records and candidate databases.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and induction.
2. Employee Management
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Manage attendance, leave, holidays, and employee information.
- Handle employee queries and grievances professionally.
- Support employee engagement and retention activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
3. Payroll & Salary Administration
- Coordinate monthly payroll processing with the accounts/payroll team.
- Verify attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, and other salary inputs.
- Prepare salary-related reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with employees regarding salary and payroll-related queries.
4. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance appraisal processes.
- Maintain performance records and appraisal documentation.
- Assist department heads in setting goals and reviewing employee performance.
- Identify training and development requirements.
5. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain required HR registers, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants or external agencies for statutory compliance when required.
6. Training & Development
- Identify employee training requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training records and employee development plans.
7. Exit & Full & Final Settlement
- Manage resignation and exit formalities.
- Conduct exit interviews where applicable.
- Coordinate full and final settlement with the Accounts/Finance team.
- Ensure proper handover and completion of exit documentation.
8. HR Reporting
- Prepare regular HR reports for management.
- Track headcount, recruitment status, attendance, attrition, leave, and other HR metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR databases.
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge of HR processes and practices.
- Good knowledge of recruitment and employee management.
- Knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and HR software.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
- QualificationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
- Preferred Experience 1–5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, technology, or industrial organization.
- Experience handling end-to-end HR operations will be preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Recruitment and timely closure of vacancies.
- Employee retention and engagement.
- Attendance and leave management accuracy.
- Timely payroll coordination.
- HR documentation and record accuracy.
- Statutory compliance.
- Employee grievance resolution.
- Timely completion of performance appraisal and training activities.
Reporting To Management / Director / Business Head
Compensation Salary: As per experience and company standards.
Work Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Note: The role may require coordination with employees, management, customers/vendors, and other external stakeholders as required.
