Job Description
Field Sales ExecutiveDepartment: Sales & Marketing
Location: Chennai / Pondicherry
Experience: 1–5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
- Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify and generate new business opportunities through field visits.
- Visit customers, industries, companies, and project sites to generate leads.
- Promote and sell Diesel Generator (DG) sets, AMC, service contracts, and spare parts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable DG/service solutions.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with the service and accounts teams.
- Follow up on leads, quotations, payments, and sales closures.
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain proper sales reports.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Coordinate with the technical/service team for customer requirements and site visits.
- Maintain accurate customer and lead records.
- RequirementsAny UG/PG qualification; Diploma/BE in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile is preferred.
- 0–5 years of experience in field sales, industrial sales, DG sales, automobile, electrical, or engineering products.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
