About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Developer with strong exposure in the FinTech, Recharge, Utility Bill Payments, Travel Booking (Flights/Hotels), and Gift Card APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience integrating third-party services, maintaining high-availability systems, and building secure transaction-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express/NestJS.

Integrate and manage Recharge, BBPS, UPI/banking, Bill Payments, Gift Card APIs, and Travel Booking APIs (Flights & Hotels).

Build and consume RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and Microservices for scalable operations.

Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and fault-tolerant system design.

Work closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business-critical features.

Maintain system documentation, API references, workflows, and technical reports.

Monitor system transactions, debug failures, and ensure handling of reconciliation, retries, and secure transaction logs.

Implement compliance-driven development including PCI-DSS, KYC, AML, and RBI guidelines (where applicable).

Required Skills

✔ Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript

✔ Experience with Express.js / NestJS / Hapi frameworks

✔ Proven experience with FinTech service integrations (Recharge, Bill Payments, BBPS, Giftcards, Wallets)

✔ Practical experience in Flight & Hotel Booking service integrations (GDS/TBO API/New Distribution Capability - NDC preferable)

✔ Hands-on experience with MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL

✔ Knowledge of authentication, encryption, OAuth2.0, JWT, Role-Based Access Control

✔ Experience with API Gateways, Rate limiting, Retry logic, Transaction safety

✔ Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, caching (Redis), and queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka/SQS)

✔ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

Exposure to UPI stack, wallet systems, or banking rails

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices architecture

Familiarity with Reporting systems, Ledger management, and Reconciliation flows

Knowledge of React/Angular/Vue for supporting full-stack requirements (optional)
