Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Horticulture Supervisor to manage horticulture and basic farming activities at our farm at Shankargarh. The role includes plantation, garden maintenance, farming support, and plant & seed extraction activities to support sustainable cultivation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens, lawns, trees, and plants.
• Manage horticulture and plantation activities at the Shankargarh farm
• Seasonal plantation of flowers, medicinal plants, fruits, vegetables, and trees
• Plant propagation and seed extraction, cleaning, drying, and storage
• Identify suitable plants for seed collection and future plantation
• Soil preparation, composting, manure, and fertilizer application
• Watering, pruning, trimming, mowing, and weed control
• Pest and disease control using safe horticulture practices
• Maintain irrigation systems (basic drip/sprinkler/manual)
• Maintain horticulture tools, seed storage material, and farm equipment
• Ensure greenery, cleanliness, and eco-friendly practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and basic farming
• Experience in plant propagation and seed extraction
• Knowledge of soil management, fertilizers, compost, and irrigation
• Ability to work outdoors and travel farm
• Physically fit, disciplined, and hardworking
• Experience in institutional campus or farm work preferred

Experience

• 1–5 years in horticulture / farming / nursery / seed and plant handling
• Candidates with hands-on field experience preferred

Salary

• ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
• (Negotiable based on experience, skills, and responsibility)

Working Hours

• Day shift
• Weekly off as per management policy
