Job Description

The Head of Brand Development is the creative and strategic mastermind responsible for the public perception, digital footprint, and brand equity of all Vardhaman Group entities. Operating within the Business Development Department, this leader crafts the visual identity and market positioning for everything from high-volume corporate meal services to aggressive street-café franchise rollouts. The role demands a unique blend of corporate business development acumen and high-end creative agency direction. The Head of Brand Development ensures that every customer touchpoint—whether it is a franchise pitch deck, a digital ad campaign, or a 4K food image on a delivery app—exudes premium quality and drives direct revenue.

Ideal Workflow & Daily Operations

  • Creative Pipeline Management: Lead daily syncs with the creative team (cinematographers, video editors, and graphic designers). Oversee the production of cinematic logo animations, high-resolution branding assets, and commercial video edits.
  • Campaign & Content Strategy: Design and approve detailed 30-to-60-day content calendars for upcoming brand launches and branch openings. Ensure aggressive, hyper-local digital marketing campaigns are primed for target markets.
  • Franchise & Pitch Deck Development: Work closely with the Business Development Officers and Sales Executives to design high-conversion franchise pitch decks and investor presentations.
  • Platform Optimization: Maintain strict quality control over third-party aggregator presence. Ensure all menus feature photorealistic, high-resolution photography optimized strictly for Swiggy and Zomato standards.
  • Market Expansion Analytics: Analyze digital ad spend, customer acquisition costs, and social media analytics to refine branding strategies across key regional markets (e.g., specific target zones like FC Road, Akurdi, Bavdhan, or Marunji).

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5 to 8+ years of hybrid experience in digital marketing, brand management, and business development, specifically within the HoReCa (Hospitality, Restaurant, and Café) sector.
  • Core Competencies: Mastery over digital marketing analytics, content calendar structuring, and creative direction. Must possess a sharp eye for modern aesthetics and high-end brand packaging.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Maharashtra food and beverage landscape (specifically Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad demographics), franchise scaling models, and local consumer psychology.
  • Leadership Style: A highly creative yet structurally disciplined leader. Someone who can seamlessly bridge the gap between abstract creative concepts and hard sales targets.
  • Educational Background: A post-graduate degree or executive specialization in Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, or Brand Management from a premier business school.
