Purchase Executive

·        Handle day-to-day purchase activities for raw materials, components, consumables, tools, services and other company requirements.

·        Identify and develop reliable vendors and maintain a strong supplier network.

·        Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.

·        Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of materials as per approved requirements.

·        Coordinate with Stores, Production, Engineering, Accounts and Management for purchase planning and material requirements.

·        Follow up with suppliers for pending orders, dispatches, delivery schedules and shortages.

·        Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery performance and service.

·        Maintain purchase records, vendor quotations, POs, invoices and related documentation.

·        Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with Stores and Accounts for GRN, billing and payment processing.

·        Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving and alternate sourcing opportunities.

·        Handle urgent purchase requirements and resolve supplier-related issues promptly.

·        Maintain vendor performance records and support periodic supplier evaluation.

·        Ensure purchases are made as per approved specifications, quantities and company procedures.
