Production EngineerJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to manage and improve day-to-day manufacturing operations. The role involves monitoring production activities, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met, optimizing processes, reducing production downtime, and coordinating with different teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, monitor, and coordinate daily production activities according to production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required quality standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improving productivity and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production-related issues and coordinate with maintenance and technical teams for timely resolution.
• Monitor machine performance, production downtime, and overall equipment efficiency.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, raw materials, and other production resources.
• Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, and Production teams for smooth operations.
• Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support process improvement, waste reduction, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure proper implementation of standard operating procedures and production processes.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with the stores team to avoid production delays.
• Train and guide production operators on processes, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintain a safe production environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of production processes and equipment.
• Support the implementation of new processes, machinery, tools, and manufacturing methods.
• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports with management.
• RequirementsBachelor's/Diploma qualification in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be preferred.
• Good understanding of production processes, manufacturing operations, and quality standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot production and machine-related issues.
• Good knowledge of production planning and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting will be an advantage.
