Job Description

  • Design and develop Aluminium Pressure Die Casting tools/dies.
  • Design CNC machining fixtures, checking fixtures and inspection fixtures.
  • Handle new part development from drawing review to production approval.
  • Conduct casting feasibility, DFM and tooling concept reviews.
  • Coordinate with tool vendors for tool manufacturing, trials and modifications.
  • Support die trials and resolve casting defects and dimensional issues.
  • Prepare and maintain tool drawings, BOM, development documents and engineering changes.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase and Customers during NPD.
  • Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plan activities.
  • Software SkillsFusion 360 – Mandatory
  • AutoCAD – Preferred
  • Basic knowledge of CAD/3D modelling and 2D drawing
  • Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation
