Computer Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a Computer Hardware Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support computer hardware, servers, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, preventive maintenance, and timely resolution of hardware-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, workstations, servers, and peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of computer systems and IT equipment.
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and application software.
• Support LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, and wireless devices.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for warranty and technical support cases.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Monitor system performance and recommend hardware upgrades when required.
• Ensure timely closure of service calls and customer complaints.
• Assist in IT infrastructure deployment and system integration projects.
• Maintain inventory records of hardware and spare parts.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in computer hardware and technical support.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of computer hardware, servers, storage, and peripherals.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with desktop, laptop, and server maintenance.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel for customer support when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industrial PCs, networking products, and IT infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of RAID, Electronics , and data backup solutions.
