Billing Engineer

*Job Title:* Billing Engineer – Road Construction

*Salary:* ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 per month

*Responsibilities:*

- Prepare and manage billing for road construction projects as per govt contracts

- Handle measurement sheets, RA bills, final bills for PWD/NHAI/Municipal projects

- Coordinate with site engineers for quantity verification and MB entries

- Prepare tender documents, BOQ analysis, and rate analysis for new projects

- Follow up with government departments for bill submission, verification & payments

- Maintain records of contracts, amendments, deductions, and escalations

- Liaise with clients, consultants, and govt officials for billing queries

*Requirements:*

- B.E/B.Tech Civil or Diploma in Civil Engineering

- 2-5 years experience in billing for road/highway projects

- Must have hands-on knowledge of government department billing process - PWD, NHAI, MSRDC, etc

- Strong knowledge of tendering, BOQ, estimation, and contract terms

- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD for measurements, and billing software

- Good understanding of IPC, MB books, and govt billing norms

*Skills:*

- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

- Good negotiation & follow-up skills for govt departments

- Ability to handle multiple project billings simultaneously
