Job Description
Job Title: Senior Interior Designer – Technical & Site Execution
Location: Patna | Full-time
Hours: 10 AM–7 PM, Monday–Saturday
We’re looking for an experienced interior designer to take ownership of site measurements, drawing accuracy, quotations, production coordination and installation execution. Practical knowledge of modular kitchens and wardrobes, along with working knowledge of AutoCAD, is mandatory.
This role offers the opportunity to grow into a Technical Head position as the company expands.
Key responsibilities:
- Take accurate site measurements, assess installation readiness and flag site constraints or pending work.
- Coordinate with our remote design resource to get 2D drawings and 3D views prepared, ensuring timely revisions and delivery.
- Independently verify drawings against site measurements, approved designs, hardware requirements and manufacturing constraints before release.
- Prepare quotations, BOQs and detailed material/hardware requirements for residential projects and B2B bulk orders.
- Coordinate with customers for requirement gathering, design approvals and revisions; maintain clear approval records.
- Issue approved drawings and specifications to the factory, resolve production queries and control drawing revisions.
- Plan and supervise installations, check quality, resolve site issues and close snags before customer handover.
- Maintain structured site reports, schedules and issue trackers, with clear follow-through and timely escalation.
- What we’re looking forRelevant experience independently handling modular furniture projects from measurement through installation.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen and wardrobe construction, materials, finishes, hardware and production processes.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to understand, check and correct 2D drawings and review 3D designs.
- Proficiency in Excel for quotations, BOQs and material calculations.
- Ability to manage remote drafting support and coordinate effectively with customers, factory teams and installers.
- Disciplined, responsive and accountable, with strong technical judgement and ownership of deadlines.
- Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
Additional advantage: Ability to derive panel cutlists from AutoCAD drawings.
Preferred: Own laptop and bike/two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.
Compensation: Based on experience and demonstrated capability.
