Admission Counsellor

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Drive admissions and student enrollments through effective inside sales and counseling activities.
• Convert student inquiries and leads into successful admissions.
• Counsel prospective students and provide detailed information about program features, pedagogy, curriculum, and career outcomes.
• Guide students in selecting the right course or program based on their academic background and career goals.
• Address and resolve queries related to admissions, courses, fees, eligibility, and career planning.
• Engage with parents and other stakeholders to clarify concerns and support the decision-making process.
• Actively track, nurture, and follow up with prospective students to maximize conversion rates.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, lead status, and admission progress.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets set by the organization.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, inside sales, education counseling, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Prior experience in the higher education, EdTech, or education sector is preferred.
• Strong track record of lead conversion and achieving admission or sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in both English and Hindi.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven startup environment.
• Strong counseling, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.
