Job Description
- Job ResponsibilitiesFleet Tracking & OperationsMonitor daily movement of all tankers.
- Track loaded, unloading, and empty vehicles.
- Maintain live status of each tanker.
- Follow up on delays and update management.
- Driver CoordinationCommunicate with drivers throughout the day.
- Provide route and trip instructions.
- Collect loading, unloading, and transit updates.
- Resolve operational issues during trips.
- Loading & Unloading CoordinationCoordinate with plant dispatch teams.
- Follow up with loading and unloading points.
- Ensure timely loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Escalate delays and operational bottlenecks.
- Daily ReportingPrepare and submit:
- 11:00 AM fleet status report
- 2:00 PM follow-up report
- 5:00 PM next-day movement plan
- Maintain accurate trip records.
- Customer & Operations SupportProvide vehicle status updates when required.
- Coordinate with internal staff for smooth trip execution.
- Ensure vehicles are positioned correctly for upcoming orders.
- Skills RequiredExperience in transport, logistics, fleet operations, dispatch, or trucking industry.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle drivers and operational pressure.
- Good knowledge of WhatsApp, Excel, GPS tracking systems, and phone coordination.
- Hindi communication is mandatory. Additional regional languages are a plus.
- Preferred Experience2+ years in transport or logistics operations.
- Experience handling multiple vehicles simultaneously.
- Familiarity with tanker operations is preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely tanker movement.
- Reduction in vehicle idle time.
- Accurate daily reporting.
- Timely loading and unloading coordination.
- Driver response and compliance.
- Successful execution of daily trip plans.
