Factory Inventory Manager

1. Inventory Management (Primary Focus)

Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle: raw materials, components, WIP, and finished goods.

Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.

Conduct regular physical inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.

Minimize inventory variances through tight control and root cause analysis.

Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of materials to avoid production delays.

Establish and enforce inventory control procedures to prevent loss, damage, or misuse.

Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability (just-in-time or lean practices).

Monitor shelf life and expiry dates (if applicable) to minimize wastage.

2. Warehouse & Storage Operations

Warehouse & Storage Operations Supervise warehouse layout and storage systems for efficiency and safety.

Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of materials.

3.Dispatch and Logistics Duties

Dispatch and Logistics Duties (Refined)Coordinate and schedule the timely dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient route planning and cost-effective transportation.

Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delivery delays, vehicle issues, or routing conflicts.

Maintain accurate records of dispatch times, delivery logs, and inventory movement.

Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations and high service levels.

Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.

Optimize logistics workflows to improve delivery performance, reduce fuel costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

Track and manage fleet maintenance schedules and driver availability.

Utilize logistics software and tracking tools to oversee order status and manage logistics data.

3. Export Knowledge

• Export Knowledge / Experience in export factory stuffing and coordination with the CHA and logistics teams.
• Provide logistics support and track shipment status until the cargo is dispatched and delivered.
