Job Title: Software Tester (QA Engineer)

Experience Required: 3–4 Years

Salary: upto ₹35,000 per month (based on interview performance)

Location: Head Office Jeena sikho (Zirakpur)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester who can ensure flawless quality across all our software products — both developed in-house and outsourced to external vendors. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with manual testing, documentation, and cross-platform (Web + Mobile) quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create comprehensive test cases covering all possible scenarios. 
• Perform manual testing across all types (functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, integration, etc.) with no exceptions. 
• Maintain proper and mandatory documentation for every testing cycle, including test cases, bug reports, and test summaries. 
• Carry out testing for both Web and Mobile applications, ensuring consistent performance and experience across platforms. 
• Quickly identify, report, and coordinate the rectification of any issues that arise in the live/production environment. 
• Take complete ownership of quality assurance for software developed internally as well as software built by external vendors — no application goes live without full testing sign-off.
• Maintaining proper coordination with developers is highly important.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and various testing types. 
• Proven experience writing detailed, structured test cases. 
• Hands-on expertise in manual testing for Web and Mobile applications. 
• Excellent documentation skills — clear, organized, and audit-ready. Strong problem-solving mindset to track, report, and verify bug fixes. 
• Ability to manage and ensure quality across multiple projects, including vendor-delivered software.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience working with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is preferred.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, integration testing, etc.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

Candidates with relevant certifications will be an added advantage, such as:

• ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Certification
• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
