Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrician responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, meter reading, and ensuring smooth and safe operation of electrical systems across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 3-phase electrical systems, panels, motors, and electrical equipment.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical installations.
• Perform meter reading, monitor electrical consumption, and maintain records.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, short circuits, wiring issues, and equipment failures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, starters, DBs, and control panels.
• Conduct regular inspection of electrical wiring, machines, switches, sockets, and other installations.
• Support maintenance of machinery and electrical systems to minimize downtime.
• Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety standards.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, and repair work.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for timely resolution of electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and company standards.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems.
• Good understanding of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of meter reading and electrical load management.
• Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.
• Knowledge of motors, starters, panels, MCB/MCCB, relays, and control systems.
• Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and during breakdown/emergency situations.

Qualification

ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Experience

3+ years of relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, textile, warehouse, or commercial electrical maintenance.
