MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer designs, installs, and maintains essential building systems like HVAC, power, and water, collaborating with architects and contractors to ensure functionality, energy efficiency, and code compliance, from initial concept through construction and maintenance, using software like AutoCAD and BIM tools. Their duties involve creating detailed drawings, managing project phases, overseeing site installations, conducting quality checks, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations for a building's core services. Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning: Develop detailed MEP system designs, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), power distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

Coordination: Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall building plans.

Project Management: Oversee the installation process, manage budgets, create schedules, and ensure timely completion of MEP-related tasks.

Compliance & Efficiency: Ensure designs meet local building codes, regulations, and standards, while prioritizing energy efficiency and sustainability.

Site Supervision: Conduct site visits, perform quality control, analyze installation progress, and resolve technical issues.

Documentation: Prepare technical reports, drawings, presentations, and method statements.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and BIM (Building Information Modeling).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
