Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fabrication and welding operations.
- Allocate work to welders, fitters, and helpers.
- Ensure production targets are met as per schedule.
- Maintain product quality as per drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and 5S.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Maintenance, and Design departments.
- Monitor manpower, machine utilization, and material availability.
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain production records.
Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or ITI with relevant experience.
Experience: 3–5 years in fabrication/manufacturing, including supervisory experience.
Skills:
* Fabrication drawing reading
- Welding process knowledge (MIG/TIG/Arc)
- Team handling
- Production planning
- Quality and safety awareness
- Basic MS Excel
