Transfer Press Operator – Job Description

• Operate and monitor transfer press machines according to production requirements.
• Set up dies, tools, and machine parameters before production.
• Load raw materials and ensure smooth machine operation.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, dimensions, and surface finish.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults to maintenance.
• Maintain production records and meet daily output targets.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient machine utilization.
• Coordinate with the quality and production teams to ensure specifications are met.

Skills Required:

• Experience operating transfer press or power press machines.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
