Job Description

Position: Team Manager

Locations: Guntur, Tenali, Ongole.

CTC : 6L ( Fixed 3.6L + 2.4L Variable Pay )


Products: New Merchant Onboard, Revisit, Loan, Smart Speaker, Smart EDC Machines.


Roles and Responsibilities :


1. Merchant Acquisition & Network Expansion : 

  • Onboarding: Prospecting and onboarding retail merchants to accept UPI payments via QR codes, Soundboxes, and EDC/POS machines.
  • Network Penetration: Expanding the digital footprint across both urban and rural micro-markets to displace cash transactions.
  • Cross-Selling: Pitching supplementary fintech products to merchants, such as merchant loans, Smart Speakers, and EDC/Swipe Machines.


2. Team Leadership & People Management :

  • Team Supervision: Manage, coach, and train a team of Field Sales Executives (FSEs).
  • Target Management: Setting and tracking daily/weekly sales quotas and evaluating team performance against KPIs.
  • Ride-Along: Conduct regular on-the-job training and market visits with field reps to help close deals and provide direct support.

3. Merchant Servicing & Retention Relationship Building:

  • Maintain strong relationships with high-value and all types of merchants to build brand loyalty and prevent churn.
  • Issue Resolution: Meeting merchants directly to address transaction failures, payout issues, or service escalations.

4. Market Intelligence & Brand Visibility

  • Competitor Monitoring: Tracking rival UPI players, analyzing competitor pricing/merchant commissions, and reporting to leadership.
  • Brand Marketing with visibility in the territory.

5. Compliance & Operations

  • KYC Adherence: Ensure all merchant KYC (Know Your Customer) and onboarding verifications comply with RBI and NPCI guidelines.
  • Audits & Quality: Conducting audits on acquisitions to eliminate fraudulent or inactive merchants.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular performance, payout, and compliance reports for the Area Manager or Zonal Head.


Requirements:

- Min 2+ years of experience in the relevant industry, with team handling experience

- Ability to recruit FSEs (Freelancers / GIG Model / Conditional Pay) and handle a minimum of 15+ FSEs

- Knowledge of the Territory

- Qualification : Min Degree

- Interested candidates who can join immediately with a minimum of 7+ team joiners only

- Bike and Android Mobile mandatory
