Team Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Team leader is defined as professional responsible for guiding, supporting, and motivating a group of individuals to achieve specific organizational goals. Acting as a critical link between upper management and front line staff, they focus on day-to-day operations and team development rather than long-term strategic planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Setting Goals and Direction: Establishing clear, measurable (SMART) objectives and ensuring every team member understands their priorities.
2. Managing Workflows: Allocating tasks based on individual strengths and overseeing daily operations to meet deadlines.
3. Coaching and Mentoring: Providing regular feedback, identifying training needs, and supporting the professional growth of team members.
4. Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting progress to senior management.
