South Indian Cook

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook menu items as per standardized recipes and SOPs.

* Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

* Handle mise en place and kitchen prep for smooth daily operations.

* Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

* Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

* Minimize food wastage and maintain inventory as per FIFO.

* Work closely with the kitchen team during service hours.

* Follow instructions from the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager.

Requirements

* Sound knowledge of basic cooking techniques and commercial kitchen operations.

* Experience in preparing South Indian dishes such as dosas, idlis, vadas, sambhar, chutneys, etc. will be preferred.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

* Disciplined, hardworking, and willing to learn.
