Senior Billing Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for site measurements, quantity verification, preparation and checking of bills, BOQ management, and quality checks to ensure accurate billing and proper execution of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and verify site measurements as per actual work executed.
• Prepare and check RA Bills, subcontractor bills, client bills, and work completion bills.
• Verify quantities against BOQ, drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
• Prepare measurement sheets, quantity calculations, and abstracts.
• Check measurements submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, Contractors, and Project Managers for billing-related matters.
• Monitor executed work and ensure that quantities claimed in bills are actually completed at site.
• Conduct quality checks of executed work as per drawings, specifications, and required standards.
• Identify discrepancies in measurements, quantities, materials, and workmanship.
• Maintain proper records of measurements, bills, BOQs, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing material reconciliation and quantity reconciliation.
• Check variation/additional work and maintain proper records.
• Coordinate with the Accounts and Project teams for timely bill processing.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of billing reports.
• Prepare regular billing, measurement, and work-progress reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of site measurements and quantity calculations.
• Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
• Knowledge of construction drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of quality control and quality-check procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to identify billing and measurement discrepancies.
• Knowledge of civil construction and site execution activities.

Preferred Experience

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in construction/project billing.
• Candidates with prior experience in construction, civil, interior, or contracting firms will be preferred.
• Experience in handling site measurements, contractor bills, BOQ, quality checks, and quantity verification will be an advantage.
