Sales Executive (Field Sales & Business Development)

Reporting To: Director / Business Development Manager
About the Role
Doritech Consultancy and Software Solutions is looking for a proactive and energetic Sales Executive who can generate business opportunities through field visits, client meetings, networking, and relationship building. The candidate will be responsible for promoting the company's software products and IT services, generating leads, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales.
- Key ResponsibilitiesField Sales ActivitiesVisit potential clients, offices, industries, banks, schools, hospitals, and business establishments.
- Generate new business leads through direct visits and networking.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision-makers.
- Present company products and services to prospective clients.
- Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations.
- Collect customer requirements and share them with the technical team.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and business events.
- Business DevelopmentIdentify new market opportunities.
- Generate leads through referrals and field networking.
- Follow up with prospects and convert leads into customers.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
- Reporting & DocumentationSubmit daily visit reports (DVR).
- Maintain records of leads, meetings, and sales activities.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

Required Qualifications
- EducationGraduate in any discipline
- Experience1–5 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales, software sales, or business development
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and willingness to travel may also apply
Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in client-facing meetings
- Lead generation and prospecting skills
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently
- Basic computer and email skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred
- Travel RequirementsDaily field visits within assigned territory
- Local travel for client meetings and demonstrations
- Occasional outstation travel for business opportunities
