Description – Sales Executive

Company: Powerton Engineering Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Noida / Behror (Rajasthan) / Field Visits as Required

Department: Sales & Business Development

Reporting To: Director / Business Head

Salary - 15 to 25K + Incentive


Role Summary:

Responsible for generating business opportunities, developing customer relationships, preparing techno-commercial quotations, and achieving sales targets for Industrial Automation, Electrical Panels, Instrumentation, Solar Solutions, Water & Wastewater Projects, and Engineering Services.


Key Responsibilities:

• Generate enquiries through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, customer visits, and references.

• Develop business in Distilleries, Breweries, Dairy & Beverage Plants, Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants, Power & Energy, Manufacturing Industries, and Renewable Energy sectors.

• Promote Powerton’s products and services including Electrical Panels, Instrumentation, Automation Solutions, Solar Systems, E&I Projects, and O&M Services.

• Prepare techno-commercial quotations and follow up for order conversion.

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and end users.

• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and product presentations.

• Coordinate with internal teams for technical support, pricing, order execution, and payment follow-up.

• Maintain enquiry records, sales pipeline, and submit daily/weekly sales reports.


Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / Graduate / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field.

• 0–5 years of experience in Industrial, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or Project Sales.


Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Industrial Instrumentation, Electrical Systems, PLC, VFD, Panels, Sensors, Flow Meters, and Pressure & Temperature Instruments.

• Basic understanding of Solar Power Systems.

• Good communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings.


Daily Activities:

• 10+ customer calls per day.

• 10+ quotation follow-ups.

• 1–2 customer meetings/visits.

• Update enquiry tracker and CRM.

• Coordinate with purchase, estimation, and engineering teams.


Preferred Industry Experience:

• Electrical Panels, Automation, Solar EPC, Water Treatment, Distillery Projects, and Industrial Project Sales.


Target-Oriented Role:

Candidate should be capable of independently generating business and contributing to the growth of Powerton Engineering Pvt. Ltd.



Additional Requirements (Added)

• Number of Positions: 2

   - 1 Male Candidate – Primarily responsible for field sales, client visits, site visits, and business development activities.

   - 1 Female Candidate – Primarily office-based sales coordination, quotation follow-ups, customer communication, and business support activities. Candidate may be required to attend meetings across the NCR region whenever needed.
