We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Café Manager to lead daily operations, manage the team and deliver excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily café operations, including opening, closing and smooth service.
• Train and supervise staff; manage duty rosters, attendance and grooming.
• Welcome guests, handle feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Confidently communicate with guests in English and explain the Continental menu, including ingredients, preparation styles and dietary options.
• Recommend dishes based on guest preferences and guide staff on menu knowledge and upselling.
• Coordinate with kitchen and barista teams to ensure consistent quality and timely service.
• Drive sales, repeat visits and party or corporate bookings.
• Monitor inventory, purchases, wastage and operating costs.
• Oversee POS billing, cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Report daily sales, expenses and operational issues to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of café or restaurant experience, including experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Good spoken English is essential, along with clear communication in Hindi.
• Sound knowledge of Continental cuisine and the ability to explain the menu confidently to guests.
• Strong leadership, guest service and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems; PetPooja experience preferred.
• Understanding of inventory management and cost control.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Hospitality qualification preferred.
